Police lay charges after beer can tossed from car
A Mississippi man has been charged with having open liquor in his vehicle after a can of beer was tossed out of his vehicle...and seemingly into the lap of two police officers manning a speed trap on Highway 7 Wednesday afternoon. The cops were using a radar gun to monitor traffic on the highway at about 2:15 p.m. when they saw a can thrown from an eastbound car as it passed them. The open container of beer hit the road directly in front of the two officers. The car was pulled over a short distance away.

Police allege Jared Maddock was taken into custody on his friend’s warrant, but when his true identity was revealed, it showed Maddock was also wanted on a warrant.
